A gunman in a skeleton mask robbed phones from a cellphone store in Fullerton, pistol whipping an employee in the process.
The robbery occurred Tuesday night at Wireless Plus Fullerton, a Verizon Wireless retailer at 2221 W. Malvern Ave., near Gilbert Avenue in the Amerige Heights Town Center, according to Fullerton Police Lt Andrew Goodrich.
The suspect pistol whipped an employee then went to an inventory room where he took an undisclosed number of cellphones before fleeing, Goodrich said.
A detailed description of the gunman was not available.
The employee did not require medical attention, Goodrich said.
