A suspect is outstanding after he shot a victim in the wrist during an attempted carjacking Thursday in Anaheim, according to authorities.
Officers with the Anaheim Police Department told City News Service that a 27-year-old male was parked in his vehicle in a parking lot Thursday evening at 1500 E. La Palma Ave.
The suspect approached him and demanded his vehicle. The victim refused and the suspect shot him in the wrist and fled without the vehicle.
The victim is in stable condition.
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic male, 28 to 30 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 140 pounds.
No further description or information was available. Authorities are investigating at the scene.
