A motorcyclist was fatally injured Wednesday when he crashed into a stake-bed truck in a Buena Park construction zone.
The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was 23 years old, according to Buena Park police Sgt. Mike Lovchik.
The victim was riding west on La Palma Avenue when the motorcycle slammed into the truck — which “had an illuminated traffic directional sign in a posted construction zone — at Western Avenue about 2:50 a.m., the sergeant said.
