Santa Ana officers Thursday arrested two suspects who tried to rob two people at the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center, police said.
Officers responded at 1:10 a.m. to a possible kidnapping in the 1000 block of East Santa Ana Boulevard, the Santa Ana Police Department reported.
When they arrived at the rail station, they detained two male suspects for allegedly attempting to rob two victims — one male and one female.
The two suspects had sustained non-life threatening injuries during an altercation with the victims, who were defending themselves, said police Sgt. Rosa Ponce De Leon. The suspects were not armed when police arrived.
