A problem with underground equipment was repaired and power was restored to the last of about 935 Southern California Edison customers in Brea, authorities said Monday.

The outage began about 1:40 p.m. Sunday and was restored just before midnight, utility spokeswoman Sally Jeum said.

Southern California Edison first returned power to all except 284 customers, Jeum said.

The boundaries of the outage included Lambert Road on the south, Wildcat Way on the east and the north, and the Orange (57) Freeway to the west, Jeum continued.
