A commemoration of the 105th anniversary of the birth of Richard M. Nixon will be held Tuesday at the Richard M. Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda.
The commemoration will begin at 11 a.m. with the laying of a memorial wreath at Nixon’s memorial site sent by President Donald Trump, remarks by retired Navy Rear Adm. CJ Jaynes and presentation of colors. Nixon served in the Navy during World War II.
Former television and radio commentator Bruce Herschensohn will deliver the Nixon Legacy Lecture at 1 p.m., providing a retrospective on Nixon’s achievements in foreign affairs. Herschensohn was a deputy special assistant to Nixon when he was president.
Admission will be free at the library Tuesday. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
