
A 21-year-old man was killed and a woman was injured when a car and a pickup truck collided Tuesday afternoon in Rancho Santa Margarita, authorities said.
The collision was reported about 4:15 p.m. on Oso Parkway just west of Antonio Parkway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Both victims were taken to a hospital, where the man was pronounced dead, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
The man’s name and place of residence were not immediately available.
The pickup truck driver, who is in her 30s, was in moderate condition and was expected to make a full recovery, according to OCFA Capt. Steve Concialdi.
All lanes of Oso Parkway were re-opened by 7 p.m., according to the CHP.
