Orange County Superior Court officials Monday announced a new service that allows for the payment of traffic tickets and other types of fines through a smartphone by text.
The service is accessible by sending the number of the case or citation by text to (657) 215-4684, which will prompt a response with the information about the case with online links to various services.
The service also can be used to reserve a court date for a hearing.
