Authorities asked the public’s help Wednesday in identifying a man and his two female teenage companions wanted in the robbery of a T-Mobile store in Seal Beach.

The robbery was reported just before 6:30 p.m. Saturday at 13936 Seal Beach Blvd., said Seal Beach police Sgt. Michael Henderson.

Witnesses said the man, accompanied by two girls estimated to be 13 or 14 years old, entered the store and forcefully removed cell phones from the display, Henderson said.

When an employee attempted to intervene, the man threatened the employee with a can of pepper spray, but did not use it.

The suspect fled the area and no one was hurt, according to Henderson.

The suspect was described as Hispanic, in his 30s, about 5 feet 6, 230 pounds, with a mustache and a tattoo of red lips on his neck. He was seen wearing a black shirt and black shorts.

Detailed descriptions for the girls were not available.

Anyone with information on the robbery was asked to contact Seal Beach police Det. Jeff Gibson at (562) 799-4100, ext. 1109.
