The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Tuesday for the 15th consecutive day, increasing three-tenths of a cent to $3.745, its highest amount since Aug. 21, 2015.

The average price has increased 8.3 cents over the past 15 days, including two-tenths of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 6.1 cents more than one week ago, 14.5 cents higher than one month ago and 73.2 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 59.5 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price rose for the 11th consecutive day Tuesday, increasing one-tenth of a cent to $3.707, its highest amount since Aug. 20, 2015. It is 5.9 cents more than one week ago, 13.9 cents higher than one month ago and 69.8 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 59.1 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price has risen 7.5 cents during the 11-day streak of increases.
