The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose three-tenths of a cent Thursday to $3.676, one day after increasing a half-cent.
The average price is four-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 75.7 cents higher than one year ago but 7 cents less than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has risen 52.6 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price rose two-tenths of a cent to $3.616, one day after increasing four-tenths of a cent. It is one-tenth of a cent more than one week ago and 73.1 cents higher than one year ago but 8.7 cents less than one month ago. It has risen 50 cents since the start of the year.
