Flames in a small strip mall in Garden Grove were quickly extinguished Monday, limiting damage, authorities said.
The fire was reported at 12:44 a.m. in the 13000 block of Century Boulevard, Garden Grove Fire Department Capt. Thanh Nguyen said.
Firefighters put out the flames in 15 minutes with no injuries reported and limited damage to $25,000 to the structure, Nguyen said. Anaheim firefighters aided the effort.
There was no damage to contents of the stricken unit or surrounding units, he said. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
