A water main break has prompted the closure of Studebaker Road at the San Diego (405) Freeway in Long Beach Wednesday morning.
The break was reported just after 11 p.m. Tuesday on Studebaker Road under the San Diego Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol. The on- and off-ramps to and from the San Diego Freeway are closed to allow crews to make repairs.
Mud and debris covered part of the road, the CHP said.
At least 150 feet of asphalt buckled due to the flooding, CBS2 reported.
Water has been shut off in the area and it was unclear when service would be restored.
