The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County was unchanged Tuesday, ending a streak of four increases totaling 1 cent, including one-tenth of a cent on Monday.
The average price of $3.342 is 1.1 cents more than one week ago and 4 cents higher than one month ago but 8 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price dropped three-tenths of a cent Tuesday, ending a streak of three consecutive increases totaling 1.7 cents, including a half-cent on Monday.
The Orange County average price of $3.311 is 1.3 cents more than one week ago and 4.1 cents more than one month ago but 7.7 cents less than one year ago.
