The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Thursday for the seventh consecutive day following a seven-day streak of increases, decreasing two-tenths of a cent to $3.781.
The average price has decreased 2.8 cents over the past seven days, including three-tenths of a cent on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 2.8 cent less than one week ago, 7 cents less than one month ago, but 10.6 cents more than one year ago.
The Orange County average price dropped for the eighth consecutive day following a nine-day streak of increases, decreasing a half-cent to $3.725. It has dropped 3.4 cents over the past eight days, including seven-tenths of a cent on Wednesday.
The Orange County average price is 3.3 cents less than one week ago, 8.5 cents less than one month ago, but 10.9 cents more than one year ago.
