Southern California Edison crews Tuesday morning restored power to more than 1,400 customers who lost power for several hours.

The outage was reported just before 7 p.m. Monday, according to SCE spokesman Paul Netter.

Crews were able to get power restored to more than 1,300 customers as of 1:20 a.m. and the remaining 117 customers had their power back on before 5 a.m.

The affected area was bounded by Rye Canyon Loop to the north and west, Riverside Lane to the south and Decoro Drive to the east, Netter said.

Equipment problems were listed as the cause of the outage.
