The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Sunday for the 19th time in 20 days, decreasing eight-tenths of a cent to $4.085, its lowest amount since Sept. 29.

The average price has decreased 17.3 cents over the past 20 days, including 1.4 cents Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The decreases follow a 21-day streak of increases totaling 58.6 cents that pushed it to its highest amount since July 21, 2015.

The average price is 10.1 cents less than one week ago, but 11.5 cents more than one month ago and 22.5 cents higher than one year ago.

The Orange County average price dropped for the 19th time in 22 days, decreasing 1.1 cents to $4.04, its lowest amount since Sept. 27. It has decreased 18.3 cents over the past 22 days, including 1.7 cents Saturday, after rising to its highest amount since July 22, 2015.

The Orange County average price is 10.8 cents less than a week ago, but 9.7 cents more than a month ago and 23.5 cents higher than one year ago.
