A three-vehicle crash in Costa Mesa Monday injured three motorists, one seriously, a fire captain said.
The collision of a compact car, a pickup truck and an SUV happened just after 12:30 p.m. at 19th Street and Meyer Place, said Costa Mesa Fire Department Capt. Joseph Noceti.
The SUV rolled over, trapping the motorist, who had to be extricated from the wreckage. That driver was rushed to a trauma center, according to Noceti, who said another patient was also hospitalized.
