A second-alarm fire Saturday damaged a two-story apartment building in San Juan Capistrano, injuring a man, authorities said.
The fire was reported at 1:32 p.m. in the two-story building at 31382 Avenida De La Vista, according to Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Tony Bommarito.
The fire apparently started inside the ground level garage and spread into the attic, Bommarito said.
It was out at 2:10 p.m., leaving 75 firefighters to work on saving personal belongings, he said.
No firefighters were injured but a civilian man suffered what Bommarito described as “minor” injuries.
