The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent Wednesday to $3.57 after dropping two-tenths of a cent for two consecutive days.
The average price is seven-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 22.8 cents higher than one year ago but 2.8 cents less than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped 4.5 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price dropped one-tenth of a cent to $3.521 after being unchanged for two consecutive days. It is 1.3 cents more than one week ago and 21 cents higher than one year ago but 2.6 cents less than one month ago. It has dropped 2.4 cents since the start of the year.
