Cooler temperatures are expected Saturday, but will still be warmer than usual as the Southland’s second heat wave of 2020 winds down, according to the National Weather Service.

But temperatures in the Antelope Valley will be in the 90s Saturday, then start to decline early next week.

Highs elsewhere will be in the 70s at the beaches, in the 80s in the Los Angeles area and in the 90s in the Valleys.

Temperatures in Orange County will also be cooler with the forecast calling for highs in the 70s at the beaches, and in the mid 70s to 80s inland.

Southland highs are expected to dip into the mid 70s by Sunday.
