A multi-vehicle crash in the southbound lanes of the Santa Ana (5) Freeway in Tustin Wednesday morning prompted the closure of a stretch of the freeway until further notice.
The crash involving a Lexus, Honda and an unknown make of vehicle was reported about 2:55 a.m. near the Newport Avenue exit, according to the California Highway Patrol.
One of the vehicles could not be moved following the crash and all lanes were stopped at First Street in Santa Ana, the CHP said.
Details of what led up to the crash were not immediately available.
