The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County was unchanged for the second consecutive day Sunday, remaining at $3.189.

The average price is nine-tenths of a cent more than a week ago and 8.5 cents higher than one month ago, but 45.5 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has decreased 42.6 cents since the start of the year.

The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $3.175, its highest amount since March 25. It is eight-tenths of a cent more than a week ago and 8.9 cents higher than one month ago, but 44.2 cents less than one year ago. It has decreased 37 cents since the start of the year.
