Authorities Wednesday identified two people who were killed in a crash involving an SUV and a big rig that was parked on the right side of the southbound Orange (57) Freeway in Pomona.
The crash occurred near the Temple Avenue exit about 3:35 a.m. Tuesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Alberto Soriano, 26, and Vivian Nguyen, 19, were killed in the crash, according to the coroner’s office. Their cities of residence were not known.
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
