The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County was unchanged Thursday for the second consecutive day, holding at $3.152.

The price is four-tenths of a cent less than aweek ago and 57.5 cents lower than a year ago but three-tenths of a cent more than a month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped 46.3 cents since the start of the year.

The average price has changed by one-tenth of a cent or been unchanged for six consecutive days.

The Orange County average price was unchanged, remaining at $3.128, one day after rising four-tenths of a cent. It is four-tenths of a cent less than one week ago and 51.7 cents lower than one year ago but eight-tenths of a cent more than one month ago.

The Orange County average price has dropped 41.7 cents since the start of the year.
