A person was killed in a crash Friday morning on the Costa Mesa (55) Freeway in Orange.
The crash occurred about 2:50 a.m. near the Garden Grove (22) Freeway interchange, where a vehicle was located overturned, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Details of what led up to the crash were not immediately available.
A traffic break was in place at Katella Avenue, the CHP said.
The age, gender and name of the victim were not disclosed.
