A woman was killed Thursday in a rollover crash in Dana Point.
The solo vehicle crash occurred about 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of Doheny Park Plaza and Pacific Coast Highway, said Sgt. Dennis Breckner of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies arrived to find the motorist dead in the Lexus sedan, Breckner said. Her name was withheld, pending notification of her relatives.
“Several witnesses reported that the vehicle was traveling at a high speed when it crashed and rolled over multiple times,” Breckner said in a statement.
PCH was closed in the area for about four hours while an investigation was conducted.
