Deputies Monday circulated a photo of a schizophrenic man who has been missing since two days before Christmas.
Rudy Olmedo, 65, was last seen about 8:30 a.m. last Wednesday in the 3500 block of East Imperial Highway, near California Avenue and Lynwood Park, said Deputy Morgan Arteaga of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Olmedo is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 165 pounds, with black hair, a beard and brown eyes. He was wearing an orange shirt, beige pants and black shoes when last seen.
Olmedo, who suffers from schizophrenia and is considered at risk, may be using a wheelchair or walker, according to Arteaga, who asked anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the sheriff’s department’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500.
