Firefighters successfully battled a fire in Garden Grove Friday that threatened several attached buildings and left one person with burn injuries.

The blaze ignited at 4:52 p.m. inside a building in the 10,000 block of Russell Avenue, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

One person suffered burn injuries and was transported to a hospital in stable condition, the OCFA reported.

Firefighters also had to deal with downed, energized electrical wires that fell on the property, the OCFA reported.

The cause of the blaze was determined to be an accidental cooking fire. The flames left three people displaced from their homes, the OCFA reported.
