The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Saturday for the 24th time in the last 25 days, increasing three-tenths of a cent to $3.546, its highest amount since March 2.
The average price has risen 19.8 cents over the past 25 days, including a half-cent on Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 3.5 cents more than one week ago and 23.8 cents higher than one month ago, but 2 cents less than one year ago.
The Orange County average price rose for the 38th time in the last 39 days, increasing eight-tenths of a cent to $3.532, its highest amount since Feb. 1, 2020.
It has increased 31.4 cents over the past 39 days, including a half-cent on Friday. The Orange County average price is 3.8 cents more than one week ago, 24.7 cents higher than a month ago and 2.3 cents above what it was one year ago.
