One person was killed Monday in a crash on the southbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway in Norwalk.
The crash was reported about noon just north on Imperial Highway, said Officer Elizabeth Kravig with the California Highway Patrol.
The name of the fatally injured person, as well as information on how the crash occurred, was not immediately released.
Two lanes of the freeway were blocked more than three hours as authorities worked to clear the scene. Those lanes were reopened about 3:45 p.m.
