Orange County and Mission Viejo have received grants from the California Department of Housing and Community Development, Sen. Pat Bates, R-Laguna Niguel, announced Friday.
Orange County child welfare services agencies received a $208,000 grant to help young adults aged 18 to 25 years find and maintain housing.
Mission Viejo received $206,683 for transitional housing through the permanent local housing allocation.
