A fire inside a single family home in Midway City was quickly extinguished by firefighters from the Orange County Fire Authority.
The blaze in the 8600 block of Roosevelt Avenue was reported at 7:32 p.m., said OCFA Capt. Greg Barta.
Firefighters managed to keep the flames confined to the room of origin, he said.
The fire was knocked down at 7:41 p.m., Barta said.
The blaze left four people displaced and caused an estimated $20,000 damage to the structure and $10,000 to the contents.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation, Barta said.
