An 83-year-old man was killed in an apartment fire in Seal Beach, officials said Tuesday.
Denis Mulvihill was killed after the fire broke out about 1:50 a.m. Monday in the 1500 block of Northwood Road, according to the Orange County coroner’s office.
The origin of the blaze was traced to an electric stove in the kitchen, but the cause of the fire was still under investigation, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Sean Doran said.
