Parts of the Santa Ana (5) Freeway in southeast Los Angeles County will be closed for a few nights this week so that lanes can be striped.
Multiple northbound and southbound lanes on the 5 Freeway between the 605 Freeway and Artesia Boulevard will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, according to Caltrans.
Up to three lanes at a time will be blocked for a moving lane-striping operation, but at least one lane will always be open, officials said.
More nights of closures might be added next week, as needed.
