The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose six-tenths of a cent Sunday to $4.038, its 14th increase in the last 16 days.

The average price is the highest it’s been since Nov. 14, 2019, and is 2.5 cents more than one week ago, 10.6 cents higher than one month ago and $1.183 greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Orange County average price rose seven-tenths of a cent to $4.009, one day after surpassing the $4 mark for the first time since Nov. 13, 2019. It is 2.5 cents more than one week ago, 10 cents higher than one month ago and $1.184 greater than one year ago.
