Authorities Thursday publicly identified a 23-year-old man killed by a vehicle on the northbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway in the La Mirada area.
Isaac Guerrero was “running in a westerly direction across northbound lanes” on the 5 Freeway south of Alondra Boulevard about 5 a.m. Wednesday when he was struck by a 2020 Chevrolet, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Guerrero died at the scene. His city of residence was not immediately released.
Following the collision, a 2014 Toyota crashed into the back of the Chevrolet, police said.
No other injuries were reported in the crash, and there were no reported arrests, according to the CHP.
