Martha’s Village and Kitchen has partnered with Palm Springs to utilize their facility in the city as an overnight shelter due to ongoing rain and flooding, the organization said Friday.
The Palm Springs Access Center, located on 225 El Cielo Road, will be used as a 20-bed shelter providing dinner, breakfast, snacks, showers and hygiene kits for those without a home Friday and again on Monday, according to officials.
Potential clients can check in starting at 5 p.m. both days with space open on a first-come, first-served basis, the Desert Sun reported.
