An outage briefly knocked out power to more than 1,000 Imperial Irrigation District customers in the Indio area Friday morning.
The utility alerted the public at 9:22 a.m. Friday that 1,081 customers in the area of 40th Avenue to Avenida Los Padres were affected by the outage.
By 10:43 a.m., power was restored to all customers, IID officials said in a statement. Anyone left without power, however, was asked to check their main breaker or call the utility at 800-303-7756.
The cause of the outage was not immediately known.
The IID provides electricity to more than 150,000 customers in parts of Riverside and San Diego counties, and all of Imperial County.
