The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent Tuesday to $4.603, a day after rising three-tenths of a cent.
The average price has increased 10 times in the last 11 days, and is 3.4 cents more than one week ago, but four-tenths of a cent less than one month ago and 79.6 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.891 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price rose eight-tenths of a cent to $4.53, a day after dropping two-tenths of a cent.
It is 2.5 cents more than one week ago, but two-tenths of a cent less than one month ago and 81.9 cents less than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $1.929 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped six-tenths of a cent to $3.525, a day after dropping two-tenths of a cent. It was the 18th decrease in the past 19 days.
It is 2.5 cents less than one week ago, 15.3 cents less than one month ago and 48.7 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.491 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
