The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County increased six-tenths of a cent Saturday to $4.452, one day after dropping to its lowest amount since Dec. 26, 2022.
The average price is six-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 8.3 cents lower than one month ago and 49.8 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.042 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price increased three-tenths of a cent to $4.372. It is 1.4 cents less than one week ago, 6.9 cents less than one month ago and 43.4 cents less than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $2.087 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped six-tenths of a cent to $3.057. It is one-tenth of a cent less than one week ago, 7.8 cents less than one month ago and 18.9 cents lower than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.959 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
