The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose 1 cent for the second consecutive day Sunday, to $4.436.
The average price is 2.8 cents more than one week ago and eight-tenths of a cent more than one month ago, but 30.9 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.058 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price rose 1.5 cents to $4.384. It is 4.1 cents more than one week ago and 4 cents more than one month ago, but 26.3 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $2.075 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped three-tenths of a cent to $3.061. It is 3.6 cents more than one week ago and 2.9 cents more than one month ago, but 2.7 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.955 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
