The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County remained the same Sunday at $4.783.
The average price is seven-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 29 cents more than one month ago, but 1 cent less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.711 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price also remained unchanged at $4.75. It is four-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 31.8 cents more than one month ago, and four-tenths of a cent more than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $1.709 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price decreased six-tenths of a cent to $3.145. It is 1.3 cents less than one week ago, 1 cent more than one month ago, and 12.2 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.871 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
