The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County increased two-tenths of a cent Sunday to $4.662, after dropping 18 times in the previous 19 days.
The average price is 4.3 cents less than one week ago, 11.4 cents less than a month ago and 29 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.832 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price dropped three-tenths of a cent to $4.623. It is 3.7 cents less than one week ago, 13.1 cents less than a month ago and 28.5 cents less than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $1.836 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped three-tenths of a cent to $3.076. It is 1.3 cents less than one week ago, 8.2 cents less than one month ago and 37.9 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.94 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
