The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County ticked down one-tenth of a cent Sunday to $4.748, its 12th decrease in 13 days.
The average price has dropped 8.8 cents over the past 13 days, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It is 4.4 cents less than one week ago, 17.4 cents less than one month ago and 57.1 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.745 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price dropped 1 cent to $4.684. It is 5.6 cents less than one week ago, 20.4 cents less than one month ago and 55.4 cents less than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $1.774 since rising to a record $6.458 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price dropped a half-cent to $3.165. It is 1.6 cents more than one week ago, but 10.2 cents less than one month ago and 49.3 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.851 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
