The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose six-tenths of a cent Sunday to $4.631, its highest amount since June 24.
The average price has increased each of the last 12 days except for Friday, when it was unchanged. It is 6.2 cents more than one week ago, 16 cents more than one month ago and 3.9 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.862 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price rose nine-tenths of a cent to $4.602, its highest amount since June 9. The Orange County average price has increased 11 consecutive days, and is 5.8 cents more than one week ago, 18.8 cents more than one month ago and 8.4 cents more than one year ago. It has dropped $1.856 since rising to a record $6.458 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price decreased four-tenths of a cent to $3.188. It is 3.5 cents more than one week ago and 4.1 cents more than one month ago, but 15.1 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.828 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
