Authorities Friday sought the public’s help in locating a 73-year-old man who has been missing from Palmdale since last week.
Michael Charles Ward, who goes by Mike, was last seen Feb. 4 living in a trailer parked at the Walmart shopping center at 10th Street West and Avenue Q, according to the Los Angeles County Sherif’s Department.
Ward has not contacted family members, who are increasingly concerned about his welfare.
The septuagenarian is white, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He has green eyes, thinning gray hair and a beard.
He also has a Marine Corps tattoo on his left arm and was last seen wearing a gray shirt, orange jumpsuit and gray sweats, authorities said.
Anyone with information concerning Ward’s whereabouts was urged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500.
