The body of a man who was tunneling under an overpass in Santa Ana was found Tuesday.
Authorities received 911 calls about the body in the 2100 block of 17th Street in Santa Ana, according to Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Greg Barta.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday, where they found that the man, whose name was not immediately released, had dug a hole and tunneled under an overpass, which caved in, Barta said. The body was found at a construction site, but the victim was not a worker there, Barta added.
