The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Saturday for the 32nd time in 33 days, falling 1.2 cents to $5.474, its lowest amount since March 13.
The average price has dropped 69.2 cents over the past 33 days, including 2.3 cents Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 12.1 cents less than one week ago and 67 cents less than one month ago, but 87.5 cents more than one year ago.
The Orange County average price dropped for the 44th time in 45 days, falling 1.8 cents to $5.34, its lowest amount since March 11. It has dropped 85.2 cents over the past 45 days, including 1.7 cents Friday.
The Orange County average price is 12.5 cents less than one week ago and 74 cents less than one month ago, but 81.3 cents more than one year ago.
The national average price dropped for the 36th time in 37 days, falling 2.3 cents to $3.878, its lowest amount since March 18. It has dropped 68.6 cents over the past 37 days, including 1.7 cents Friday. The national average price is 7.3 cents less than one week ago and 58.1 cents less than one month ago, but 67 cents more than one year ago.
