The streak of increases to average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County was extended Sunday to 20 days but just barely with an increase of one-tenth of a cent to $3.471.
The average price has risen 14.1 cents over the past 20 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Saturday, to its highest amount since March 1, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 3.5 cents higher than one week ago, 21.9 cents more than one month ago and one-tenth of a cent above what it was one year ago.
